Engineering Programme Level 3
The Advanced Apprenticeship Programme is a milestone based system, usually lasting approximately four years.
The first year Initial Engineering Training is carried out in our Engineering Training Centre and the following three years in Company.
There are five milestones to be achieved to complete the full Apprenticeship:
Milestone 1:
- Initial Engineering Training carried out in our Engineering Training Centre.
- NVQ Level 2 Performing Engineering Operations
- (3 mandatory units – minimum 6 units)
Milestone 2:
- Technical Certificate Further Education at Level 3.
- 2 years day release at a Technical College.
Milestone 3:
- Key Skills: 5 Key Skill units at level 2.
Milestone 4:
- National Vocational Qualification Level 3 in your specialism
Milestone 5:
- ERR booklet (Employment Rights and Responsibilities).
